Dr Louise Chen

Dr. Chen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Physiology, and her degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine from McGill University, both with the highest recognition of the Dean’s Honours List, which is rewarded to the top 10% of the graduating class. She was also awarded with scholarships in periodontics and orthodontics. Dr. Chen subsequently completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Connecticut Health Centre, where she obtained extensive training in all aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Chen’s commitment in continuing education and study clubs has enabled her to approach patients’ oral health concerns with the most updated, evidence-based dental knowledge and skills. She is dedicated in improving my patients’ oral health and their overall wellbeing, and her caring mannerism has comforted numerous anxious patients during their dental visit.

Dr. Chen is a certified provider of Invisalign clear aligner therapy, and an active member of the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, Canadian Dental Association, and British Columbia Dental Association.

When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Chen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two little munchkins. She also enjoys reading, cooking, eating and music. If you know a hidden gem of a restaurant, or a delicious recipe you would like to share, she would love to hear it.
